A program written in Javascript and DHTML. It takes the Javascript (or even a self contained Web Page), removes the white space, comments and line breaks, and replaces function names and variable names with meaningless hash values. By using hash values, it ensures the same meangingless hash value is used accross multiple scripts.

This function will encapsulate the process of creating an object reference to an HTML element on your page. There are two versions of the function below: New-age browsers and older browsers. New age browsers are browsers compatible with Netscape/Mozilla 5+ and Internet Explorer 4+. Older browsers add to the compatibility Netscape 4. (Recently tested with Firebird and newer Mozilla browsers, works fine!)
