This is a free simple link checking php script, which requires no database. Simply enter your name, and the site name and the script will generate a report showing you the total broken links, external links to different domains and internal links, along with displaying the links if you wish. The software also has a file that you can enter web sites that you do not want link checked, to prevent people from running the script on sites that are already close to bandwidth capacity.

The Free Link Popularity Checker enables you to check your domain names for their link popularity in any search engine that you desire, among them Alexa Rank, AllTheWeb, AltaVista, Google, HotBot, Msn, Overture and Yahoo. I wrote these functions to keep my GD generated images from being hotlinked. This was based on the idea that both the php script calling the image, and the image itself would have the same server time. If you try to use this script on a site that uses multiple servers, it would be a good idea to synchronize their cpu clocks. date_filter is to be used in the script calling the php resource you want to protect.
